This Privacy Policy explains how Mall 24 collects, uses, stores, shares, protects, and deletes personal data when users access the website, mobile applications, marketplace, delivery services, vendor services, and customer support channels.
Mall24 may collect account information such as name, phone number, email address, username, encrypted password, profile photo, and user type; order information such as order history, cart details, invoices, payment status, refunds, and delivery instructions; delivery information such as address, city, landmark, GPS location where permitted, and recipient details; technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, browser, IP address, device identifiers, crash logs, performance data, security logs, and usage activity; and communication information such as emails, calls, WhatsApp messages, support tickets, complaints, and feedback.
Mall24 uses personal information to create and manage accounts, process orders and payments, arrange delivery, send order updates, provide customer support, manage returns and refunds, verify vendors and delivery partners, prevent fraud, improve app and website performance, send important service notices, manage marketing where permitted, comply with legal obligations, and enforce platform policies.
Mall 24 processes information where necessary to provide requested services, fulfil orders, manage customer and vendor relationships, comply with legal and accounting obligations, protect platform security, prevent fraud, improve services, and obtain consent where required for optional features such as location access, notifications, or marketing.
The Mall24 app may request camera access for uploading photos, media access for selecting images, location access for delivery and address features, notifications for order updates and promotions, and other permissions only where needed for a specific feature. Users can manage permissions through device settings, but some features may not work properly if required permissions are disabled.
Mall24 may process the payment method, transaction reference, amount, currency, payment status, and billing information. Mall 24 does not intentionally store full card numbers, CVV codes, or sensitive payment credentials unless securely handled by an approved and compliant payment provider.
Mall24 may share relevant information with vendors, delivery partners, payment processors, banks, mobile money providers, customer support teams, hosting providers, analytics providers, security providers, professional advisers, auditors, insurers, government authorities, courts, regulators, law enforcement, and business partners involved in service delivery. Mall 24 does not sell users' personal information to advertisers.
Some technology, hosting, payment, analytics, or communication providers may process information outside South Sudan. Where this happens, Mall 24 will take reasonable steps to ensure that data is handled securely and used only for legitimate business purposes.
Mall24 applies reasonable technical, administrative, and organisational measures to protect personal information, including access controls, password protection, encryption where appropriate, secure hosting, staff access limits, backups, monitoring, and fraud prevention procedures. No digital platform can guarantee absolute security, and users must protect their passwords, devices, and verification codes.
Mall24 keeps personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for order fulfilment, customer support, legal compliance, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, dispute resolution, audit, and security purposes. Where data is no longer needed, Mall 24 will delete, anonymise, or securely archive it.
Subject to applicable law, users may request access to their personal information, correction of inaccurate information, account updates, account deletion, data deletion, withdrawal of optional consent, marketing opt-out, and information about how their data is used.
Mall24 may send promotional messages, offers, newsletters, and service updates by email, SMS, WhatsApp, push notification, or other channels. Users may opt out of marketing messages at any time, but important service, order, security, and policy notices may still be sent.
Mall 24 is not intended for unsupervised use by children. Users under the legal age of majority should use Mall 24 only with involvement and permission from a parent or guardian. If Mall24 becomes aware that a child provided personal information without appropriate consent, Mall24 may delete the information or suspend the account.
Mall24 may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the website or app with the revised effective date.
